89 accord lxi Seat upgrade

The seats are ok, but I am looking for plusher seats.

I had 89 prelude SI seats in my 87 honda accord, and I did not like these seats at all, they pushed all over my back and caused alot of problems.

What will fit in with little mods or direct bolt in?

Anything plush from an Acura?

unfortunately, as you know, even those 'lude seats didn't just bolt right up without some convincing.

...but the good news is that damn near any seat will work. I would just walk a junk-yard and sit in the various seats until you find something you think is very comfortable. Bare in mind that there you will want to avoid anything with power seats, unless you feel like running some power to it (which now that I think about it, might be a very cool mod).

After you pick the right seat, measure up the pan, and the bolt configuration, and a few minor tweaks with some angle iron, and you should be able to get them bolted up without much of a fight.

Sorry there's no easier answer, such as a direct bolt-up.
