Hi Guys need some technical info need some new pistons as i think my rings are shot and possibly the pistons (cheap patent ones)

13102-PJ0-307 (from LXI 86-87 or 2G lude 85-87)
13102-PJ0-308 (from SEI/LXI 88-89) i think this is 9.4:1 and the best one to use but like rocking horse poo to find in U.K.
13102-PH4-010 (DX/LX 86-89)

I believe the carbed engines were 8.8:1 which is what i have at the moment with a big dish in the crown and the early LXI i think maybe inbetween with half a dish so maybe 9.0:1 or similar but not sure.

These come up in the parts catalogue as the 9.4:1 A20A4 pistons

13101-PJ0-600 standard size A
13102-PJ0-600 standard size B
13103-PJ0-600 0.3 oversize

However it seems like the part numbers have superseeded to 1310x-PJ0-308
I cant say if those are the same pistons or not.
But lings.com have those available in oversize.

Are you saying the pistons are a direct drop in as well? I heard rumor that the rods are a perfect fit for our cars, but don't recall ever hearing with certainty on this. Messy, pls let me know on this.

...rjudgey ---> I have a set of pistons from an 88 LX-i (A20A3) I can measure up for you if you want. ...and two sets from 88-89 DX (A20A1). Any info you want I'll get for you and hopefully it'll help.

Need something i can drop into stock size bore, as engine is staying put for the time being. When i build the next block it will be with custom forged pistons to my own spec and lightweight rods.
