hey guys i wanted to show a few pics of my bike. i have had it since August. it a 2008 Honda CBR 600rr special edition. it has the flat black, mettalic grey graffiti paint. there was only 499 of these made and i happen to buy the second to last one known in the honda inventory database. i have swapped the dorky weener looking front signals for smoked flush mounts. i am going to get a rear fender/taillight eliminator and convert to a clean looking liscence plate holder with built in leds for the lights but i need to wait till my exhaust is dialed in to confirm my options. i just installed my 8000k HID's today. i am waiting for my Akrapovic full exhuast to come in. i dont really ride agressively but i know its a matter of safety. i have got to be SEEN and HEARD. i am going to get an alarm with a built in proximity sensor that aloows me to arm the bike simpplt by walking more than 3 feet away with the key fob. here are some pics.

the day i bought it http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j59/3gmodifier/0917081716.jpg

Very nice!

Ive said it before and ill say it again, thats my favorite of the newer 600cc sportbikes..great powerband, comfortable (for what it is), and looks awesome! The exhaust must have cost a pretty penny..

Oh...and ride harder :D

well becuase of its special limited run, it had an MSRP of $10,599 as compared to the regular model which was priced with an MSRP of $9,000. i was lucky enought to get the $9,000 price cuz i was real cool with salesman and 2 of my friends just bought a bike through them. i still payed close to $ 11,000 because i financed the bike and all my gear. and GAP INSURANCE ( A MUST) total finace is around $9.5 cuz i put $2,000 down. over all it is a badass machine. i have no complaints thus far.

nice good deal, insurence on a bike is what scares me... a 20 year old with a few speeding tickets under his belt probably doesnt get a very low price lol, and i agree with everyone these bikes are awsome, i saw one localy last week and even that paintjob is sick looking

hey guys i just got my Akrapociv' full exhaust system yesterday. it is installed and holy shit. it sounds sound good. nice and throaty, not that 2stroke sounding fart can noise that most riders have. it rides so much smoother. and there is an increase of 5 hp from the 6000 to 10,000 rpm range. and now i make hp all the way through over rev which is 15,500 rpm's. totally worth the $$$$.$$. i will get some oics and hopfully a sound clip up shortly

My ex was the same way  she was scared as shit at first, but then after riding for a few minutes, started having a really good time.

What do you mean by where you are? Like where you live? Or financially?

yes, where i live. the weather isn't always cooperative for riding, and it'd be in the garage for quite the long time, plus the roads are just straight crappy around here.

psh...as i type this there is 6 inches of snow on the ground. Bike is parked for 6 months out of the year....gives you more time to do big projects

Did i mention we have potholes so big that they have their own area codes?
