Went from a couple GDs to an old Accord? Is the LX just a beater?
I second OldSkoolA20accord the SVX was an awesome design, I really like them. I've only ever seen a handful in person.

i loved my subies. and i had bought that one new about 3 days before that... where i'm from AWD is king. big steep hills and snow 7-9 months of the year. as for the SVX, it was a sweet car. loaded up for a 92, power leather, CD player, everything, but they were all auto and the trannys had problems overheating and so it shit the bed. i sold it to my buddy so he can swap the motor into his legacy wagon.

yeah I hated that the SVX was only Auto. Deal-breaker for me.

Nice subies, but that MSP is soo sweet. I'm guessing you were all over www.mazdas247.com (or one of the other 300 domains they owned) (I always use msprotege.com, but it goes the same place). What happened to the MSP? (I have an '02 ES as my DD.)

What's the story with the LX? Stick or Auto? Any plans? ...btw, as ridic as you think it may be, I'm confident that if your 3G has good bones, you'll like driving that better than any of the other cars you posted up. They're nowhere near as fast (bone stock) as any of what you posted, but def more comfy, roomy, stable, and a lot of fun to drive. Hella easy to work on too.

btw, welcome to the board.

The MSP had TONS of problems. the dealer i bought it from lied about its history, saying it was clean when in reality it have been in 3 accidents. also whoever had owned it didnt know what they were doing when they modded it. so i made the dealer take it back and give me the silver impreza. i do like and trust the 3g (i'm even considering taking it on a cross country trip) but i miss the AWD. I love rally, and it doesnt scandinavian as well. I'm used to going into dirt 90deg corners at 45-50 mph, now i can only go around 30-40. and it doesnt like to get sideways, even with the hand brake. o well.
the lx is an auto. only plans ATM are resto based (i.e. paint, rust removal) the interior is mint, and i would like to make it look new again.

and yes, i do have fun with my cars. cars are meant to be driven, not to sit on a show floor and looked at. if something breaks, so be it. you gotta pay to play.

Sorry to hear about all the problems with the MSP, but oh well.

Anyway, as for your 3G... Get a little more power and you'll definitely be able to toss it into a side slide without much trouble. I would highly suggest an auto conversion to stick. I did it to mine, and have helped on another swap with another member. On a carb'd car (such as the case with your LX) it's a damn easy thing to do. Just need the parts.
