Can I use a standard transmission out of an 87 in my 88 car originally an auto? What else do I need for the swap?

Also someone told me $100CAD for the 87 tranny... Is that a fair price

You would need flywheel and clutch assembly, pedals, shifter, run a clutch cable, drivers axle from a manual car,mounts.

If the tranny's in good shape thats a steal. i paid 300 for my lude si one. Just take note if it's from an fi model or carbed, they've got different ratios. there is a list with all the tranny #'s on here somewhere

a hundy is cheap if is in good cond but as russian said, you need all the rest of the shit to go with it or you wasting time

yeah it will bolt up....it depends on how much they charge you but 100 bucks is cheap
