first off ima say thank you to the mods for bringing back the old market place, hopefully a-holes wont whore it up. But i noticed all the old seller feedbacks are missing? will these be back once you finish working on the site or are we starting fresh? just wondering thanks
Also i dont know if it allready is (as i havent posted a thread in the new market place yet) but im sure everyone would be fine with not getting a post count out of that section (such as the o/t) just a thought

The whoring shouldnt be an issue...the update said that only the person who makes the thread will be able to reply to it

Instead of creating a forum for feedback, I'm leaning toward encouraging people to use the visitor message system built into our member profiles. That way you can just click on a person's profile to see user feedback.

Getting the board fixed was entirely Joe's doing!! He did all the backups and reinstalls.

indeed, your the man, i like the new marketplace cause people actually see what i have got to sell now (VIA new posts) and can get in touch with me, cheers for that
visitor mesaging sounds like a good feedback system, would be good if it was strictly for that tho with something under their name or a link to it when you click their username.

The old forum is welcome, but I do see an issue. Regular and Foundation members can't reply, but moderators can, and have been. In their defence, they probably see the "Post Reply" and the "Quick Reply" just as you do in the rest of the forum. I'm just bringing it up because I don't think the mods that have posted don't realize it. In both cases I've seen, the posts applied to the items being sold, so it was far from post whoring.
