Good improvement over stock, but seems kind of slow to me. Is it tuned? Is the track above sea level? do you know how much it weighs?

yeah sorta slow soundin to me too. looks like your got a gauge for everything in it. Wow. . .you need to loose all that weight you got in it.. And boy i wouldnt drive that at the track around here only runnin high 15's with the bright green paint i probably would get jumped at the track.. lol maybe take the body kit off primer it black then get rid of all the stickers on it take out all the interior even the door panels everything but the dash and the drivers seat. take the old gas tank out and put in a allluminum one in the trunk then drop it a inch in the rear and a 1 and a qyurter in the front. and run 15 inch rims with tires on it with low tire pressure. looks fun thought but just wouldnt run that car here in america. You might get shot in detriot if ya did.. lol
There has to be something wrong with a h22 in a 3gee to only run a 15. Thats sorta depressing to see that.I was thinkin the h22 to at least run a 13 in a 3rd gen. Even with slight mods to it .

well duder, a Turbo II RX-7 making around 180-190 whp only runs low 15's, high 14's stock. so for an H22 to be running mid/low 15's isn't all that bad, considering our cars with the A20 probably run like 18's in the quarter, HAHA

02-17-2009, 12:28 PM
Stock Preludes with H22As in them seem to be running low 14's. I doubt there's a weight problem here. Seriously think that a few gauges is going to take a full second off the 1/4 mile time?

-$MOKIN-
02-17-2009, 01:29 PM
Yea actually it could when you have a gauge for every sensor on your car .That can weight you down including having a extra 100 to 150 lbs for your interrior in it. It does effect your time. And running low profile tires is not good when your tryin to take off at high rpm's .If your goin to tac out your dash with ten tacs on it then you would think you would be set up to run 13 or 14's but to me running a 15 with a h22 in a quarter mile is not that good in my book. I think there was a 3gen a20 that ran low 16's on here awhile back he had a video. it was hilliarious to watch.

15.31 sec not to bad for my car because, when I ran the best recorded Honda Prelude a lot modified with the engine H22A it's ran just only 14 sec something...
And the other resson I use this car everyday why I have to take off all the parts from my car?
About the gauges I swap brown console Japan spec so I took its off already.

i think everyone should lay off Tommy Boy here...low 15's on a STOCK H22 is not bad in the slightest bit, especially considering the trim of his car. like i said TurboII's run low 15's and they're fucking turbo rotaries. so hell, i'd be proud of a low 15 second H22 in stock trim. i say, it's time for a flashed ECU with a cam, and injectors. if you build it, they will come!

I don't care about who said my car to slow because it's more faster than many new cars that I try before.
And here is Thailand not America.
And I don't care who said my car is ugly with my URAS bodykits because, everybody can do anything with your own car and your money right?
Who care?

Yes! I agree with you man.
I'm don't lie anything is true.
This car my dad bought when I'm 11 yearolds
I modified this car for 9 years until now.
I swap so many parts by my self.
I like lime green because when I lived in Melbourne Australia.
I found one CRX lime green very beautiful.
So that when I came back to Thailand I wanna swap colour of my car to lime green.
Aussie style for modified car they painted with pearl colour effect and swap with chromium wheel about interior alway changed in many colours.

Hell man you put a h22 in a 3gee i congradulate you on that. I am just disapointed becuase the only way to trick this car out is to do a bigger engine swap like you did, Which i have been wanting to do, and when you see that time on it it just makes me think that its a lost headache. I always thought that a h22 would at least give me 14's stock . And then maybe doing a couple things to it and tune it up that i might be able to get into the 13's. I think its cool that you actually do what i always wanted to do with a 3 gee. I might do things differently than you but its still sweet to see a 3gee out there. Maybe sometime you can make us a video of your car and other cars at your track. It would be interesting to see all the jdm things you guys have out there compared to our cars. To bad you wouldnt start a little business for all of us americans ,like ebay, and start hitting the junk yard for us and shipping us stuff over.

I bought the dash board from Bangkok.
And I installation by my self.
First you have to take off your console and cut in side console and the cover then you can put the dash board in side but, you have to swap the eletric plug and checking the eletric wire with the machinist conecting to the old eletric wire and your new engine.

Tommy are there any b20's at the junk yard. There are like a million people over here looking for this motor. And probably alot of people looking for parts off of it.the folding mirrors have been a big hit. And the map light was sweet. I didnt even know there was one. Also the leather interior is hard to come by . Unlike were you live, in some places around here these cars can actually be hard to find in a junk yard. When i lived in detroit michigan, I could not find a 3rd generation accord becuase they would just crush them. But that is the motor city where mostly all american cars are from.So having a honda is not a good idea in detroit. When there is no work for the people becuase they were all smart and bought hondas.lol
Wow i type way to quick and just ramble on. Anyways dude i think your cool as sht man. You got and pics with your rims painted green on there? Post em up.Im glad yo found www.3geez.com becuase like all of us here your a true blue when it comes to "The Honda" is what i call her.

Wow ..Dude it would be worth the flight over there. Isnt there a naval base over there? It would be sweet to be able to send a couple cars with a couple dudes that are based there back to america
Or better yet create a whole new business in Cali and have tommy be our connect for massive quanities of jdm parts and accessories.

No! Thailand don't have American naval base just in Philippine, but I think we can ship to America in the cargo.
I found this car for sale 94,000 Baht = 2,685 $
