Just bought a third generation, It is a 1989 Accord Sedan LXi Automatic bought it from the original owner, I have all the window stickers, owners manuals, paperwork when he bought it and it had right at 80,000 miles. So I now I get to take it apart and rebuild it and make it my own..

Looking good man! Unless something is wrong with it, I'd just slap a coat of paint on it and be done. Welcome to the site!

would'nt touch the motor with 80k on the clock
just do the usual i/h/e, lower it and some alloys for starters and se where that takes you

Yeah I want to keep it looking stock sort of.. I really want to make it look like the JDM 2.0Si as I can with some JDM Factory accessories like fog lights, wheels stuff like that..

I wouldn't rebuild the motor at that low of a mileage, check your paperwork and make sure the timing belt has been replaced, thats the main concern, that engine is barely broken in.

Yeah Water Pump and Timing belt replaced at 75,000 miles

welcome, and yeah i agree with everyone else, dont rebuild that motor she is just starting to get broken in. you could check you suspention bushings as they tend to rot out, but other then that your good for modding, you also might want to consider a 5 speed swap

Yeah I didn't plan on doing to much to the motor just yet, I just wanted to focus on the exterior and interior of the car converting it to JDM Spec

nah, that's overrated. I'm at 237K on the original honda timingbelt from Jan.'89.

...no seriously though I don't recommend this.

I'm with everyone else, with only 80 on the clock, leave it alone.

When you say you want it to look like a jdm 2.0Si, what exactly are you thinking? Do you want to do a fixed headlight conversion? ...other than that, there's not much of a difference aesthetically (at least for the exterior is concerned.)
