Blacking out my corner lights

so i found these clear corner lights on ebay and had to buy them. i lost the cover for one of mine on my road trip somewhere in new mexico (i think). so i was just gunna buy 1 oem one, then i found that i could get 2 clear ones for less $. and i figured they'd prolly look better than that amber color... so i whipped out the good 'ol VHT nightshades and went to work.

the picture doesnt really do them any justice, but they look pretty good imo. i was thinkin about putting some red lights in them instead of the normal clear or amber ones, but i dont know about the legality of that. so ill prolly just stay clear...
unless anyone knows about the law? can i put red lights in the corners?

but you cant put red or blue lights in the front of your car do to police having them.
i would put amber in them

Very nice! I did the same thing when I had my civic to get rid of the clear.


As far as the red goes, I doubt it would be legal. I say throw the ambers in and have one less thing to get hassled about

i had put blue driving lights on the front of my car a while back. i got pulled over ten minutes after i left my house.not for them being like police lights. he(the cop) said they were ok. but since i still had yellow corner lights and white headlights , they were not legal. 3 colors on the front. if i had blue corner lights and white headlights with the blue driving lights it would have been ok, he said. cant have 3 colors on the front in wa.i really dont know about red tho
