im leaning to the infinity ref9623i

i get employee discount.

oh yeah i have a alpine 4ch amp i think its like 40RMS on each channel.

i have heard them and i love them...i remember when monkey gave me a ride he had infinity set up and it sounded really crisp and clean.

Weird... I replied earlier but I guess the server ate it.

I've had all-Reference setups in a couple of my cars, and installed multiple Infinity systems in friends' cars. Always been more than satisfied. I've got 6022si up front now and I'll definitely be getting Reference 6x9s when the time comes (probably 2-way though). There's nothing as well-rounded and high-quality out there for the money.

Wholeheartedly recommend them.

wish NZ had decent speakers but we only get sony crap and cheap chinese bullshit knockoffs thats only good to put 100w rms on and watch them melt

Rear speakers are overrated. Just take them out and you'll have weight reduction:).

Then bridge the amp so you'll get like 120 to each front.

i have pioneer 4-way 6x9s, they're decent so far. i also lack ampage, so that might be why they're almost 4 years old (and in their second car) and still pristine.

Reference or Kappa? I put some Kappa Perfects in a friend's car and honestly couldn't tell the difference... I think you have to know your shit to really appreciate those.
