Worth the money?

I just got finished making a cai for my car. It looks great but I have not painted it yet. Anyways I wanted to know if it is worth the extra money to get a bypass valve. It does snow here, but the aem website says that it's rare that one will pull in water. I just wanted to know what you guys think.

in front of the filter (i mean the opening closer to your filter on the bumper) patch it with the window screen. It looks dark and nice. Besides, it wont allow chunks of ice or dirt leaves to get in.

on yeah, did u paint it with high temp ceramic?

I am painting it right now. I'm waiting for first coat to dry. Yes I did use high temp. ceramic paint.The store had 500 degree and 1200 degree, I got the 500. I think it wil work fine.
