ok guys ive got a chance to pick up an 85 sei for pretty cheap thats in descent running condition, only main problem i have to fix with it is i have to de-rice it, somone got a hold of it that shouldnt have in their lifetime and now it needs a little work, being a second gen prelude guy i dont know much about the 2g accord but i love and respect older hondas, so any feedback would be nice just about the car in general, thanks guys

Lets see... um it's a fuel injected ES motor with leather, Bose stereo, power mirrors, remote fuel door latch, and power sunroof.

It's either Silver or Maroon-ish, unless it's been painted.

as far as feedback i was just looking for peoples general responses and wow its looking good so far, and as for the car he only wants 600 for it, but some ricer has gone through the interrior and painted some of the panels, it made me want to puke when i saw it

ohhh yea and the speakers and radio have been ripped from it as well

also as far as performance goes i know there wont be much but what is out there, owning a 2nd gen i know most mods are of the diy variety

Check the performance modifications FAQ in the 2geez section. You can probably do any of the typical EFI modifications that the 3gee uses on the SEi. Also, A20A3 swap or JDM B20A swap would be a piece of cake in that car.

DO IT!!!

A20A3 , rebuild it , get a cam from bisi , B16 intake manifold , DC header (or pacesetter if u cant find one) , custom exhaust , Integra gears , and your be hauling ass!

i actually have an a20a3 in my basement from an 89 lxi right now, being a 2g lude guy i have a lot of spare a-series parts laying around, by the way does anyone know how much the sei weighs?

Not exactly sure but it's around 2275 lbs. Maybe 2300.
