Yes I need help, If I buy 89 SEi brakes, will they fit my 86EXi, I have rear disks on mine, just wonder if the front will mount on 86-87 hubs and calipers?

thanks

The front will not fit without some clearancing.

It's not a bolt-on.

The most common way to complete the swap is to get the upright, hubs, calipers and brackets from an 88-89 fuel-injected car.

kk..
Yeah, I just wanted to get me drilled rotors, but all I find is 88-89, no 86-87 cross drilled..
The reason why I dont want to swap is that I'm going with twin piston calipers soon so, If you have any suggestions where or what works, it will be much appreciated :D

dos anyone know difference between 88-89 front pads and 86-87 brake pads? are they same? or maybe they may be modified it different?

Sorry that I ask so neat but there is no sticky on this subject, maybe we make one for ppl like me :D

I surely wouldn't worry about cross drilled rotors.

Buy a cheap set of blanks and a good set of pads.

Crossdrilled are a waste of money and will just have lower pad life as they're more abrasive.

buy some twin piston calipers from me and you will be set sticking with your 86-87 gear, they are all you need, work good over here even in hard driving even if the disk is smaller lol

Yes Aaron this is why I was warring about rotor choice, as I'm more interested in twin piston calipers.
I must agree with 86AccordLxi on rotors, I read about that wear issue so no brembo for me then.. but I was checking some nice Ceramic pads from HAWK but they are only for 88-89, wil they fit the 86-87 calipers? or if you can show me what pads are good?
