AGH!!! my replacement head was cracked!

The LXi head I was going to put on my DX is cracked--might explain the exploded header. Now I have nothing to replace my smoky DX head with.

Any one have any experience with replacing valve guides? Already done the seals to no effect. Maybe just a place where I can get a cheap head in the Seattle area?

yea man, im new to the area so i cant really help ya...
id call around at some junk yards and whatnot. then take it to some old school machine shop and have them rebuild it for ya. thats what i did and my head is PRISTINE!
