easy way to remove valve springs from a head... hammer and a extension and a socket, but the socket end on the valve retainer and hit it sharply and fast and the cotter pins will fall out and you will have springs :)

so which springs from the a18 are different and which are the same? Do I need to grab the intake, or the exhaust springs? Or should I get both?

^^ from what i read its the intake valves. I was on Prelude power and the exhaust springs are the same stiffness on both, and there is 2 styles of intake springs on the A20(fat one and a skinny one) and i think they dont hold high rpm's as well as the A18's.

im pretty sure its the exhaust springs, actually. The exhaust ones are the only ones that are dual spring im pretty sure.
