the pop up lights are one of the coolest features of this car.
i like fixxed headlight ones just as much. my favorite part about them is the engines

Ummm depends on what angle you put em in. i think it would look sex will on my car anyways. i like it. all depends like i said....a my makes it look tired after all the beatign lol.

nice Tommy. Are you the 3geez ambassador to your Thai club because you're the only one in the club that's good with English? Either way these cars are very nice, and that front clip conversion is damn cool too.

Just curious though, with those that are doing this conversion, are they also adding the swtich on the dash to pop the headlights without the need to turn on the lights?

I think a half-pop would look good, with some custom lenses that work half-poped, if that makes any sense

I've seen a late 80s lude with 3g integra lenses hidden under the pop-up shell that looked pretty sick

no offense but that half popped look never really looked good on a lot of cars...but that's just me. with the 300ZX as you can see in this picture:

we simply just unplug the connector to the switch that brings the lights up and you still get decent beam angle without throwing your whole projection off

1 guy in 3 Gee (b20a86lude) will come to Thailand on mid April.

Don't forget though that here in the US, we got coupes and hatch's (both 2 doors) and Euro's got the Aerodeck (a two door wagon).

I know, just import one of those to Thailand. Hell, you'll be the only one there with a 2 door 3G. ...But I do really like the 2nd and 3rd gen 'ludes though too.

that Z is a true sports car!actually the early z cars were true sports cars, the later ones got heavier and heavier, and more crap added. other then the 300zx turbo, most of the last ones were slugs. the scca racers consider then heavyweights. and i don't see any way that box for the lights can work, i know how the system works, and i know how to make them sleepy eyes, but the switches that control the position of the lights,are built into the motors, like a windshield washer motor. it's eithier up or down, there is no in between. So there is no way the box can work. it might work on a setup with electronically controlled lights. the electronic box on ours is nothing but a diode box.
