Saw a set of these on a VW Rabbit pickup parked at my work, the owner rents a parking space there and the truck is pretty much stripped. I want to give him a offer on these rims but dont want to insult him at the same time.
What do you all think of these rims and what do you think a decent offer would be.

im not sure of the value, but I would search around at vwvortex.com. I remember when i had my MKII GTI that was a pretty sought after wheel.

I just saw em for sale on some vw forum and it says they went for $425?

gorgeous wheels. dunno how much they are worth, but they're worth every penny of it if they're in decent shape.

blazin --> get that wheel whore back on this board. I haven't seen him in forever. what's he up to now, about 219 sets of wheels?

yeah tell that guy 250 for all 4 lol...if he doesnt know what he's got he'll let em go cheap. I say highest you go is 400-450.

i looked around a little this morning...it seems like people are getting 7-800 bucks for them with tires, if the wheels/tires are in really good shape. Ratty sets were going in the 3-400 range

I think they stopped maufacturing in late 2008, but there's gota be a few places selling them with some still in stock.

the owner wasnt around today and the rims are in pristine condition. The guard at my work say's the truck has been sitting for over a year now and the guys comes around once a week
