i have seen gif's used on here i know someone has a BUB RUB one of the whistle tip as a avitar lol, just remember you HAVEto stay under the size AND file size gif's are size hogs

Yes, back in whwn the site was started, it was possible, if you notice that all who have animated avatar is 2000 or 2002 registered member.
I hope this clear it out..

You would have needed to be on here by 03.

the site was on pub69.ezboard back in 2000-01, then a subforum of automotiveforums.com in 2002. Current address been since 03.

Well, it would be refreshing in a way, but look at www.fourms.shooshtime.com (alot of the forums are NWS) first before making any decisions. You are allowed HUGE gifs as your avatar if you want, and huge sigs with no real size limit, and multiple pics and gifs in them.

because we like to keep this site as dial up friendly as possible .

if you're using dial up you shouldn't be using the internet, they make cheap enough packages for cable/dsl...

I remember when i had dail up when i was with my rents. Now i got cable for 50 and 10 buck upgrade secound the the fastest. and i get cable to..CHarter baby lol

exactly...i don't think i used dial up since the mid/late 90's...plus you can pick up phone/internet/cable tv for like $99...it seems illogical to buy a package plan with dial up... :uh:
