Everything makes a difference as far as the sound go's. Intake, Header, exhaust, all add sound. Full exhaust is your best bet.

Try this not the best exhaust in the world with 2.25" crush bends and the stock 4-2 header and single exit back box and still has silencer in the middle! Obviously the webers and everything else i've done to the engine make it sound friggin awesome!! Just can't wait for my custom header and system to be done with 2.5" collector and straight through system with just a race muffler on the back!! Gonna be insanely loud as well as freeing up a hell of lot of ponies!!
