Could i run a 88/89 ecu on a 86lxi

Reason beening i have one...idk if it would make a difference....im tempted to try it just to start it and see what happens....but idk...would it damage anythign. let me know..reason i have one just laying here lol

You will need to repin a few wires on the ecu connectors, swap the manifold with one that has EACV, and run wires to it, I believe. There won't be a noticeable difference.

If I can find the 86-87 pinouts, I can include the wiring and repining in your conversion harness.
