Sweeeet ride! Did you do the motor swap yourself? I would love to hear all the details you could spare on that one. 1g Civic guys have been swapping ZC/D-series motors for years, I'd imagine it's a pretty similar procedure for early Accords.

Any chance you could post pictures of the mounts, or even an overhead view of the engine compartment? Your pics worked fine for me, they were just very large!!!

I like the idea of D-series motors in Accords. Nice, revvy little bastards....good on gas, and CHEAP!

Ouch!
Sorry to hear of your accident damage.
Always interesting to hear of different engine conversions & the effort, determination & imagination required to make them happen.

That swap is cool, forsure. I'm curious how you dealt with how the exhaust exits out front?

blue_accord
04-03-2009, 12:36 AM
my exhaust system still such as original. from part monifold is standart D16 to to the centre in floor lower part. then I continue with original exhaust system 1gee.

Did you have to modify the front crossmember at all?

That car is so badass. Did he install the sunroof himself? I don't think I've ever seen one in a 1G Accord. Integra gauges look factory from that angle too, very nice install.

So you didn't have to modify the crossmember that much (and your bud with the B-series didn't at all???) How tough were the other mounting points and what are you guys doing for axles? I'm blown away by all these swaps, keep up the amazing work!

blue_accord

of axle at first I use cut and continue. but my friends told will that the method unsafe.
then I had sent axle I to mechanical shop at making new trip in driveshaft.
my friend which uses B series doit also that.
