lol, i did a mini tuck on the headlight wires. Did u make a connecting harness, or did you cut and extended all the wires? I ended up adding 120+feet of wire to my car....

^^ no pics yet, I just got the car running today. If i can get ahold of a camera, ill have some tomorrow.
but it really wasnt too bad, hardest/longest part was making the harness. Each wire had to be extended 4 feet. I soldered each one and heat shrunk it, took two nights + 3 trips to radio shack haha

Your car looks great . Did you just paint that car ? And looks like your Accord of the month. Early congrats on that.
Good work. How did you find that interior ? and the motor looks clean before the wire tuck. I bet it turned out nice

i took off fenders and pulled wires out of holes then took off protective plastic wire covers re routed wires and re covered them. i have had to make about four wires on the passenger side longer by like 2 feet. other than that ive just moved stuff around. and for the vac lines i just removed a bunch then re routed and shortened/lengthened a couple. mostly looks have changed but almost every wire is still there and can be put back the way it was stock. http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0330091811.jpg http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0330091803.jpg http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0330091803a.jpg. its a project with a long ways to go. im happy with it for now, still messin with stuff about every day. im broke for the last ... ever. friend just gave me about a grand of turbo stuff. so i need a turbo manifold and i thiink i got most everything. he had turbo runnin real good on his car but removed everything and returned to stock sold the car and said we are gonna put turbo on mine. but i dont have a manifold for that .said he just got a almost brand new 14b or 16g turbo. i have a decent t3. but he says the others are better. i

Involves alot of work i can see. But it looks managable and well worth it if your goin to shave holes and paint it too.

Well this is sams thread...i what a gt30 later on which is spendy lol...but good hp gains off that.....its all in the tunning i mean you can have a bad ass motor but if not tuned PUFF...and hp comes from the head...80% of it does anyway...lighter rods makes a world of a difference. i had my a20 rebuilt before turbo but wasnt sure so i ran it for 3 years . so i did a comp test was all even accross the board.. SO i boosted it. well she holding fine for a crappy tune but im going obd1 here soon to, the oppertunity to control fuel an map and datalog .all makes a world of a difference...Im getting a motor here from a buddy for 50 bucks lol blown head gaskest so its all good...im going to build that thing decent to handle 300hp. but its not going to be a quick one. parts are pricely for a goal so high. Its all in what you want you know....i think im close to 200hp but idk dyno well reveal the stats lol....dyno soon after some other stuff needed to get shit done....O SAM YOUR THE MAN PIMPING LOl...sam helped me installed cam gear his dad is a savage...a true old skool racer. anywho sam we need to install intercooler bro lol...

I like your setup Rendon . I was maybe wanting to do a turbo swap . But as long as its takin me to get this car to that point its still down the road .It defently would benefit me if you guys live in oh not wa.

Sam ever head of foriegn auto salvage in northen kentucky . The last engine i got off of them was only 75 bucks. And there are like 10 accords at bessler pull and save and maybe 10 in carthage pull and pay if you ever went junking around in cincy for parts

Every time I pull into the garage to fix something, I start thinking about your engine bay and I'm like, "Man. I need to clean this up in here." Then I start looking around at all the wires and crap and I completely abandon all hope.

Looks good though, must've been a lot of time and effort.

yeah. thats what i always thought before i removed the vacuum lines i would open the hood and be like oh man theres so much stuff. and it would make me scared to even try to work on it. it would confuse me seein all that stuff. after i removed the first few vac lines and got it runnin i was like that wasnt so bad. and alot was accentualy out of the way so it looked alot more simple to mess with and i went from there after a minute it was so bare you could almost see everything plugged onto it , its alot easier to want to work on now with all the stuff gone. not so confusing when u look at it anymore. for me. http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/1023081318a.jpg http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0330091910b.jpg
