I am curious, how many people on here have them? I checked my setup today and 20k miles later after a complete overhaul, it still looks fresh.

Same here. Even though I have the LX MC and prop valve, they make the car stop faster.

can u put discs from an integra on the accordI don't think you can.

Thanks. Its definitely worth the work. They're getting harder to find. I know I had the swap laying round for 3 years under the shelf when my brother snapped it from an SE-i.

Well aren't you lucky!:sadwave:

I had some tires mounted on last night and one of the weights fell off. So instead of taking the wheel off and bringing it over I brought the car over. The guy took the wheel off(rear wheel) and stared at it with a "wtf" look on his face. Made me feel good for some reason.

Ok is it only an SE-i that will work on a 88 LX-i? I found a 89 Acura and 87 integra that I believe looked similar to my lower arm and and knuckle set up on my 88 lxi. Please clarify for me what year cars I am looking for?
And do I just need the whole hub assembly with calipers etc., or do I pull the trailing arm and knuckle with the brake assemlbly connected? And from what I read I need to pull the e brake cables and booster setup. Can some write me a list of cars to look for at the JY and parts to yank. It would help me out.You guys are always helpful thanks.

89 Accord Se-i only to my knowledge. Some other rotor and caliper combos fit, but you still need the hub and knuckle from the Se-i. If you find one just nab everything for the rear brakes off of it. Including the e-brake cables because they're different.

And booster set up? So I guess SEi only? This guy at the JY was getting out of an SEi as I was leaving:banghead: I go every week to see what they have.

yeah the master cylinder and prop valve are different as well.

Master cylinder is the same between the 88-89 LX-i and the SE-i.

Great thanks. And a few weeks ago I was pulling switches and plugs out of a car at the JY, and I thought "how odd it has leather interior". Well it was probably an SEi, but it is gone now. This was before I was researching what to look for.

i was wondering how well a master cylinder & prop valve from a car with rear drums would work on a car with disks? im trynna get rid of my ghey alb but my only spare prop valve & m/c for the rear disks have gone walk-abouts. i don't really want my rear wheels locking up under normal braking if that's what the standard prop valve is gonna do
