I just bought a Dynomax super turbo muffler. When I put it on I decided to take off the catalytic converter and resonator. When I got it all put on I started it up and drove. :wtf: Smoke came pouring out the exhaust. The smoke was white, but not coolant white. Also there was ALOT. Once I realized I forgot the reset the ecu I did. I took her out for another drive. this time no smoke until I hit 55 mph then smoke, but not a lot. Tomorrow I'm going to get the cat and res welded back on. Is there a chance that I did any damage to the engine? If so what did I do.I need help real bad.also, has this happened to any one else? All input is welcome.
