my bros old old soundstream b4 they sold it to who ever...goes half ohm and damn...requires for you to run 2 or less in order to run that....and has a plate for that power port...IM like damn....looks like shit to...Thats insane thou

your reffering the old reference line. ive still goy my continuum, referece 1000sx and 744s. thats the complete line for that year in true category. they are power hungry but sound quality well surpases todays digital crap.

just saw this thread, yea this is serious pro stuff, if you don't know what you are doing, the output from one of these could kill you. built as a brand icon for running at competitions. the eight batteries hooked up with the dual 200 amp alternators alone produce more dc current then the electric chair. Dc is really nasty stuff at those kinds of amps. It does things to kill you that ac doesn't do.

the really clever guys were using phoenix gold zx450 amps which were only like 50 watts rms at 4 ohms.
12.5 watts per channel and these guys were getting 125-130 db with 2 12s or 2 10s.
