They're driving me insane, I got all the bolts off, but what do I do with the plastic/rubber screws as they seem that holds the inner fender to the outer one? They just disintegrate when I put a screwdriver to them...

soak them with WD-40 before messing with them.

It will be alot easier to remove.

So say I had some wd40 (which I don't) how do I get it where it's supposed to go as there's no access to the other side on most of the screws...

it comes with a little tube that you can aim with..

Yea those plastic "bolts" suck. I usually drill out the ones that are stuck and then replace them with new ones or good old ones.

Well my neighbour had some wd-40 equivalent stuff, so I tried that. Didn't help at all, just dug bigger holes in the heads.

Sounds like a plan.

PB blaster works great but it stinks so much :D

There's isn't erally anything rusted there. All you need is some kind of lubricant.

you have to hold the outer ring and turn the inner part.. they're hella easy to strip you might just go to a JW and get some more

I tried that, but seemed they were stuck pretty good and I didn't want to bend the fender.

Unlike a lot of the plastic fasteners on the car those are really cheap--$0.10-0.20 each. Just drill them out and buy new ones from the dealer.

jeez.. i really don't find it that hard to unscrew them most of the time.. sometimes you get one or two stubborn ones but most turn.. you just have to be gentle lol

wd40 is water based...huh? it's a bunch of different kinds hydrocarbons.. no water .. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WD-40

Just destroy them and throw them in the fucking garbage. I use expanding push-clips, they are available at any real parts store. The ones I used are for the fender flares on a Honda Foreman 450.

Yeah, got the fenders off now. On the right side I got one out like it's supposed to after blasting them with a bunch of silicone spray. The rest I destroyed cause they were not coming out... Got lucky on the left fender, only had to use violence on one of the clips. Had a little trouble with the lowest bolt since the rocker covers have been undercoated, so I had to do some digging to get to it.

Also I should add that it was a lot easier after I realized that I should probably remove the wheel to get to the screws better ;)
