Im gonna keep my interior maroon but I getting it redone next week. Vinyl-- tweed, I havent decided yet. I was thinking I would keep it all one color but started thinking two-tone would look nice too. Maroon and black, maroon and grey?? What do you think on the colors and fabric type?

Houndstooth? No Sir. No crimson tide here. I like the maroon and black and I think I'll go with the tweed (Marks fault) but should the black be on the outside and the maroon in the middle as the insert or vise versa??

my preference would be the majority charcoal grey or black with trimmed or paneled with the maroon.
if it were maroon I was going with , I like the light tan with black or graphite and black

I like maroon in the middle. (sorry to picture whore up the thread)
I still have to paint the lower half of my door panels, but you can imagine what it would look like with the lower half black.

The dash padding was black and my wife painted the lower half to match

Thanks for the pics Pico. I heard from some of the guys that you have a black and maroon interior, but do you have some pics that are a bit lighter? Im interested in seeing it so I have something to compare. Whore it up!! I was thinking of doing the upper vinyl on the door panels black too. If you paint the map holder black are you going to change the carpet surrounding it to black? What about the side plastic leading to/and the headliner? Did you leave it grey or color match it as well. I know Im like a three year old with all the questions but I want to do it right the first time, you know what I mean?

Hey A18A you could be like Burt Munro and load the 3g on a boat, sail across the pacific, screw a bunch of chicks on your way to Atlanta so we can do the swap. LOL I assume you know what Im referencing. That has to be one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time...

I'll get some outdoor shots tomorrow.
The upper part of the doors came off a black sedan with the black and creme interior, so I didnt have to paint those.
As far as the rest of the interior, headliner, plastic panels are still the stock creme/beige color. they seem to match up pretty well.
I also need to locate some black seatbelts to go with the theme.
I'm going to dye the carpet on the mapholder and replace the interior carpet with black carpet also.

not sure of the year, it's off a prelude with 4 wheel steering.
Feels alot nicer than the stock accord wheel, and it's the same diameter.

As much as I hate to break the news, I have decided to go with maroon tweed and black tweed inserts with maroon piping. I know its reverse from previous discussion but I think wrapping the seats in black is too much of a contrast and will offset the interior from its mainly maroon color. The seats I think would stand out like a sore thumb. Then you know what comes next with black seats is black carpet then a black dash and black door panels etc... I dont want to catch that bug. This way it stays simple, clean with just a little pop--give me some feedback

I like this idea a lot, and for the same reasons you mentioned.

I know I'm late to the game, but I'll toss up a few pics of my door panels which have the colors somewhat inverted to pico's
