Just une your A20A Harness and add a few wires.

Then, you just need to run a PK2 ECU.

It will be alot cheaper and easier to find parts

:werd: i was kinda hoping to use the digital fuel injection instead of the a20a s batch style

What's an S batch?? Anyways, using the A20A3 harness is fine. You'll need to change the CYL sensor and distributor plugs to JDM (which from the looks of the pics are still there) and run wires for the crankangle sensor but it's not a big deal. The ignition system is simular to the 3rd gen Ludes so you can use the parts/harnesses from those as long as you wire it properly. The B20A uses the same coil as the USDM A20.

You have the 86-87 style B20A so I don't know how that will affect you if you use the 88-91 2.0SI Prelude ECU (PK2). But since you have a 88-89 A20A, you might want to convert the B20A intake manifold to the USDM so you can keep the dual stage manifold and stuff. But then you'll have a problem with the exhaust manifold since the 86/87 style doesn't have a hole for the EGR tube.

Where did you get that from and how much?

:werd: ok... to yk86: the 89-91 preludes use a digital fuel injection system, how this differs from the a20a efi is: the digital quewes the injectors one at a time and the batch style quewes two at a time. i would rather have the right efi setup for this engine so that it runs as it was intended. :p

to 88lxi68: i got it from a small time engine importer from washington state. it was 375.00 with the tranny. it is a manual.

Good deal on that engine, looks like it came with everything you'll need to. Does the a20 tranny bolt right on ?

If you are going to stay using the 86-87 style manifolds that came with it, you need an ECU from a 86-87 Accord B20A 5 speed (part number 37820-PH3-900) or from a 86-87 5 speed B20A Prelude (part number 37820-PJ5-901). You could try e-mailing overseas wreckers. If you are going to convert to 88-89 style to accomodate your car (dual stage intake manifold, 2 O2 sensors, etc) you will need an ECU from a 88-89 B20A 5 speed Accord (part number 37820-PH3-063) or use a 88-91 2.0SI Prelude ECU like Carotman.

The only problenm is that the PK2 ECU uses 2 O2 sensors.

I'll need to get a Prelude exhaust manifold or a new header :p

Other than that, the car will run fine.

It sux that I can't find that JDM ECU anywhere!

to yk86: thanx for the part numbers... they might come in handy while im looking for the right parts... it sounds like its gonna be difficult to find the stuff that went with that engine.. but im gonna try for a little while at least.

The B20a that I have has no o2 sensors and the ecu type is 37820-PH3-603.

The ecu+wires are for sale if anyone wants them.
