Ok i'll get straight to the questions

1.How do people witht he CAIs clean their filters,and how often?
(i have a cai and havent cleaned my filter , i will be doing this tomorrow at work how ever.)

i just took it off soaked it in the sink with hot water and scrubbed it with a old tooth brush and some dish soap rensed it good set it out in the sun to dry and reinstalled

cant say i have ever cleaned my pod filter lol. still makes loud as hell induction sound so it cant be blocked lol

auto parts stores sell a K&N filter recharge kit if you want to get serious, but if you've got a cheap filter buying another one is the more cost effective way to do it. I think the cones at most places are like $20-$30. i dunno about cleaning them with just water. Maybe some sort of solvent.....ok well the bottle doesnt say whats in in. The wrong stuff could eat the materials in it tho, so i guess water...

Get air filter cleaner, follow the directions (usually says to spray the filter, let it sit for 10 mins). Then rinse under warm water. Let it dry naturally, then reoil and reinstall...or at least this is what ive always done.

Its not an AEM dryflow filter, is it? Those dont require oil.

no,an ebay filter and also how often do u clean the filter,since u have to romve the bumper to change it kinda sucks..lol
