alright so i was on my way home from school.. and i was passing by the gas station and this 2000 honda civic si pulls out.. barks second and leaves me .. so he slows down and throws his hand out the window asking me to race.. of course i say no. so then he down shifts and i put my car into 3rd from fifth and i was riding his behind till his vtec kicked in and he left so i was like.. ok good thing i didnt race.. but mann i wish i could of blown by him.. :(

i want a fast car..lol hopefully this new weber that im looking at will end some of this ownage..lol

I promise you will get that feeling. Im stoked with mine which is basically stock except header and custom intake manifold with a 38 weber (b20a)
Even a lxi exhaust and downpipe with a weber 38 on your:thumbup: current engine will amaze the pants off ya.

Oh dude, I feel you. My friends have turbo Volkswagens, Imprezas, and JDM-swapped Civics. I don't think I've ever had a car with a 0-60 of less than nine seconds.

But if it's any consolation, your car still handles great (and looks way cooler than an EK). :)

yeah. 3rd gear is our pull gear..thats why i down shift in to that gear sometimes to get some mad power yo..lol

I like racing Civics. Never raced an Si yet but most Civics are always trying so hard while I am just relaxing on my German leather, looking in the rear view mirror as they fade away while my foot is to the floor.

I never all out street raced but I have pwned several civics at stop lights and interstates with both my cars with A20 motors in them. they were all Dseries though I assume. I had a 94 civic and it was fairly quick but had to keep the rpms up to keep it in the zone, takes a moment to get it there so I guess that is why the torquey A20 gets a lead on those. ... I am quite sure the DX with the jdm b20 will hold it's own, havent put it up against any thing yet but I would guess it is well over 150 hp, and it very quickly out drives the rest of the car's handling and stopping ability at the moment.
