i made my mount out of the bottom of an old stock radiator http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0514091837.jpg .i took the metal piece off of the bottom theat secures it to the metal parthttp://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0514091836.jpg than after i took that off i took it apart http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0514091837a.jpg then i took out the pieces that were in it for the tranny cooler or whatever it is and the sensor http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0514091850.jpg then fit it in the stock mounts for the radiator on the bottom and figured out where i was gonna mount the radiator http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0514091837b.jpg and then cut it a little so the radiator fit on it and drilled some holes for the two lower mount pegs to fit on my mount http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0514091851.jpg then put it on the bottom of the new civic half radiator http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0514091902a.jpg and then into the car . also in this pic u can see how i cut an extra stock radiator support i had to fit the new radiator http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0514091923.jpg also i took one of the stock rubber mount things that hooked to the top of radiator supports pegs. and when i cut the stock support i left a little piece to bolt the top mount to . i had to put the radiator in and eye it to see where i needed to leave the pice at then cut it. then it was just hook up the hoses and fill bleed coolant and go. it works and runs good ,dont over heat . good:cool: http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp186/gettinthechewin/0514092033b_0001.jpg there was a sensor in the bottom of the radiator i was told , was for telling the fans when to kick on . i didnt have a spot for that on the new radiator so i was told i could just hook up some manual fans . which i already had done.

looks good, except isnt the point of the half rads i nthe accord to open up the space on the driver side for bigger manifolds and such? this ones mounted dead center not helping pace very much and not cooling any better then stock

i wanted a smaller one like ive seen people on here install, and i wanted a more sturdy one. i keep having the stock plastic ones break, at the top where its plastic. so when the last one broke i baught this. so i wanted to install it. and thats where i wanted it . not off to the side. and this one is also a lil lighter than my stock radiator. maybe a pound or two but u can feel it. an im takin weight off here and there so this is some more i took off. also a gap on both sides of the radiator lets air around it and on to both sides of the engine so its prob gonna help to keep the engine compartment a lil cooler, more air movment.. just my reasons for wanting the lil civic radiator.
