newbie irish girl

hey everyone, i said i better introduce myself before posting anywhere else. my name is Aoife, i'm from Ireland as ye have probably guessed from the title and from what i've seen so far this is a great site :)
the reason i joined is because i'm thinking of buying a 3rd gen accord, i love hondas but old skool hondas more so. at the minute i have a 98 type S prelude which is my DD, a 91 prelude that i'm restoring and a 94 ascot innova(JDM accord) that isn't doing much at the minute because i'm finding it impossible to get parts for it!
anyway that's enough about me, i hope to get to know ye all better and hopefully i will have an old accord by the end of the year :cheers:

Ouh and if you really wont a nice 3Gee, look for 16V B20a2/8 engine. As I see you live in Europe, you may find one. It was a top spec one.

ha ya i know a bit, preludes would be my strong point but i hope to learn alot more from ye 3geez people about accords :)
thanks for the advice, i want to get the best i can and hopefully i can get a clean, unmolested one! i have found two at the other side of the country, both going for really cheap so the fact that they're not very sought after might work to my advantage. they aren't the cleanest but i'll wait until i find the right one

I was going to tell you about import taxes and stuff when I remembered that you ppl drive on the left side of the road. But! you can ask some nice people from NZ to find you a nice rust free and Unmolested CA3 Accord.
check out www.trademe.co.nz it depends on your tax prices tho :D

it would be cheaper to get one that's here but if worst come to worse i can import one from japan. my brother has imported a few cars and he uses the same guy all the time, he is great at finding the exact car you want and you know exactly what you're getting from him but that would cost a good bit extra so that's my plan B

thanks, it's my favourite too, you've got to love old skool hondas! ya i've a feeling it would be like my black lude if i got one and i'd end up treating it like a baby :)
i really miss driving it since i took it off the road so that's why i decided i've to get another oldskool honda and as you can tell preludes and accords are my thing lol
