Lower milage 3g for sale in Aurora IL!

A friend of mine told me about a nice clean 3g LXi (he thinks, but it looks like an LX to me since it doesn't have alloy wheels and no cassette tape holder) of an unknown year- looks to be 88-89 due to the front bumper.
The car is located at Triad Auto in downtown Aurora IL off of Broadway

Price: $2000 or best offer Cash only, no financing.

This guy must be kidding.

Here's what I can tell from the pictures.

- Rust under the left side tail light and left rear fender.
- The driver carpet is all green/moldy.The floor has probably started to rust from this.
- Badges were removed.
- Fuel tank is empty (lol)
- Front-right bumper light is broken
- Missing the horn covers
- Broken Hubcap
- No floor matts
- Corner light doesn't look OEM (probably TYC)

I can't even imagine what I would find out if I saw it in person.

I'd give him 800 if he fills up the car.

But yeah that floorboard is almost certainly rusting out. Heater core must be leaking.

I bought a blue 3g 1988 just like that in running condition, and actually in better condition for 100 bucks. also had brand new tires and original steel rims on it,. not worth 2000 bucks.
