w261w261, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

This occurs sometimes when I try to reply to a thread.

Do you have to log in after you see that? Sounds like a cookie issue.

make sure it is not a for sale thread, those do me like that... the new format looks like a regular thread if you picked it up under new posts

Yeah, Mark was looking for some shocks, it was under the for sale section.

me?

Yeah, the For Sale/Wanted sub-forums are permissioned so only the thread creator can reply on the thread. It's a way to keep threads from getting piled high with crap posts barely having anything to do with the items for sale.

The thought is that any dealings can be had via PM, and that should anyone request info that could be pertinent to the item for sale, the seller could just edit their post or reply with the additional info.

Sounds logical to me. Btw, couldn't you call someone like Bilstein and just get the dimensions from them?

sure I could, but what's the fun in that? No I honestly would just rather have them to measure up so I can get all sorts of specs off them.

The dealer in Shelton may have a pair sitting in Parts. They're pretty nice there, might let you borrow one to measure it.
