There we go, I was wondering when you were going to post your car. Looks solid! Same color as mine with nicer wheels though.

It's a good starting point, won't be mine legally for a week or so. So close - one driveway away.. SOON MY PET! SOOON. <insert evil laugh> But, yeah car is solid - runs good, already have rotors and pads, new valve cover gasket. BTW dig your 2door alot man.

The car itself looks good, but the border of your photos keeps making me think that there's dirt all over the car.

My goal is to keep things simple, clean. Want to restore it to best condition I can (budget permitting), maintain a daily driver with good gas mileage. New wheels/tires, tint, paint, interior restoration - nothing big. That's what I always say tho - lol. I think the 3g is classic, want her to sit in my driveway for a while with modern touches.

Messy your car is flawless, want your old rims (4$?). I'm not a fan of altering suspension, but these accords DO have significant gap. What did you use to repaint trim? Also like the teg' lip. Infact lets just clone your car - lol.

They make a specific paint for trim, it's got the right sheen for the application. It's called Trim Black, and it's available where the automotive paints are located in just about any store. I've used it on previous cars with good success, but I have no pics.

Hey guys - it's been a while! So I've had the car for a month now, and I've pretty much got her in perfect running condition. I have to say for an 89 this car is in great condition, the only things that need to be fixed at this point is the AC hose and the slow leaking valve cover gasket. I've managed to restore all the trim with trim paint, painted the wheels with rustoleum proffesional paint and painted the hood semi-gloss black. I'm sure I'll catch some flak for painting my hood and wheels, but TRUST me - it looks so much better. The rims were almost 3 different shades of silver before, and now it's a uniform dark metallic grey, also the paint makes all the scratches and scrape much less obvious. I painted the hood because there was pretty much NO paint left on the hood, the clear coat had completely been baked off and there was rust starting to peak through the paint, so while it may seem ghetto - it's much nicer. I plan on getting the whole car painted sometime this year, so it doesn't bother me much\ - besides i did a good rattle job if I do say so myself. :) Anywayz, I plan on taking some pictures today with my friend's bad ass sony cam, so until then here's a cellphone snap.
