would that be safe to use since it is still connected to a fuel line?

I use a 600 ft-lb impact gun. If you try to muscle it, you'll just end up bending the bracket all to heck. Then you'll cuss. Then you'll try to bend it straight and cuss some more.

I've taken the bracket loose already and i've taken two wrenches and plied in opposite directions and nothing. the old filter doesn't look that old and its not rusty or anything on the bolts. its that oblong banjo bolt that won't come loose.

Whoever drives my old Accord has a fuel line that's bent about 15 degrees because of that fitting. :D

yeah i finally got it after applying a bit of man muscle to it.....then when i was putting it back on, it's a bitch to get that bracket back on, and i dropped the fucking bracket screw and it landed in my grass somewhere.....bleh....so now i gotta try to find it.
