I'm rather new to the forum and came across a problem I detailed in the Mechanical section. Through that thread and many others I searched, I had the confidence to install a new fuel filter and remove the airbox and give the carb and throttle a real good cleaning. Before today, I'd done nothing more than change the oil in any of my cars.

Unfortunately that didn't fix my issue and I'm still going to take it to a Honda shop, but I had a damn good time messing around with the '85 this afternoon learning new stuff.

Yeah, glad you're having fun with your car. That's what cars are really all about. Once you figure these cars out, you see just how simple they can be. Hope we can still help you out more in that other thread. I think GHMC is on it. He's one of the carb masters. Roodoo as well.
