hey all i got this nasty dent on the back of my 89 lx-i and was wondering is it easier to work with what is there or go to the junk yard and cut what i need off another 3g and weld it on? here are some pics of the damage. the previous owner was rear ended and it was all caved in when i got it

remove tailight and trunk lineing grab the section and start yanking it forward, and then replace that little metal peace under the tail...

Yeah both of my 3gees were damaged very similar to that. and i got it pulled straight on both of them

i replaced the whole bottom piece below my tail light cause it was rusted out, mate welded one from another car in there and it looks okay

thanks all. i'm gonna try and pull it and then replace under the tail light but worse case senario i go to junk yard and cut it off the 87 sedan they have as much as i don't want to take from the good shell of another 3g

i'm in a town called westford right out side of lowell and i'll get some daytime pics tomorrow and more angles
