Hiya!

Long time lurker, first time poster! I decided to finally get off my ass and take some pictures. Unfortunately, I didn't get far enough off my ass to take them with a real camera. Enjoy these iPhone taken pics for now and I'll work on getting some better pics up soon (interior shots especially).

A little info about the car? She's originally from Texas and was brought to Canada by some drunken gambler who sold the car to pay off a "loan". Fortunately for me he sold the car to my dad's friend who owns his own mechanic shop. The car sat around in my dad's friend's barn for about 4 years before I came along and scooped her up.

The car's pretty much all original. It only has 46,XXX Miles
The wheels were done by a local bodyshop. They were custom drilled to a 4x120 bolt pattern.

As far as the rust situation goes, it's pretty much a non-factor. Ya, and I drove it through a winter!

Theres a few little cracks of rust forming here and there but that's mostly due to the paint being so thin.

I'm gonna be working on a few things this summer. I have a rebuilt carb just sitting in a box at home waiting to be installed and I would like to do some exhaust work. Maybe redo the interior since the seats are a little rough. We'll see!

Thanks for checking out my Accord. I'll keep you guys up to date with any happenings as I go along.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm actually in Woodbridge (Vaughan), just outside Toronto.

Nice car!

Please, stop driving it in the winter :(

Thanks for your input guys!

Hazwan the wheels are made by a company called Zen and I believe the model is M35. If you do a google search they should pop up. The shop I got them from orders the rim blank and then custom drills them to fit your bolt pattern. The moron working there ordered the wrong offset tho so there is some slight rubbing in the back but part of that is due to my soft suspension.

As for the winter driving, the car was rust proofed by me and the previous owner (it had the black plugs in the door sills and there was a ton of oil sprayed under the hood already). Being in Canada I think even without driving it in the winter the car would still rust unfortunately.

Keeping it a garage would prevent the rust :D

Anyway, it's not really the cold weather that kills cars, it's that fucking calcium they spread on the roads. It gets everywhere between the seems and makes the car rust :(
