I'd love to buy it, but its just to expensive!!! 7000Euros to be exact or almost 10.000USD. It sits in Italy at the moment and came from Dallara race car.

I'd think fitting it in a prelude would take just as much work as putting it in an Accord. Mounts are probably way different from both. Would be pretty cool tho, aren't those like 180hp @ 5000 rpm with the restricted intake?

That is sick. I would find a way to make it work in my car if I had it... :D

I would think it would have the same castings on the block as the 2g B20A. I bet it would go into a 3g Prelude just fine. It would take some tweaking to the ECU and some different manifold obviously, it may not quite perform the same once put in a car. Plus, unless the oil system is dry sump, it's probably set up for RWD.

I remember reading somewhere that it is dry sump. And I guess you could just slap an a20/b20 intake on it.

if you do that, then you destroy al the tuning and so on for it. the problem with these engines is they are set up to run a contant high rpm for racing, they would be terrible for the street due to the powerband. it is a dry sump, you can see the fittings on the belt driven oil pump on the side of the block.

wasnt the mugen intake manifold for the a20's similar looking to this or was it for the accord B20 ?

wasnt the mugen intake manifold for the a20's similar looking to this or was it for the accord B20 ?you must not remember the whale penis intake thread on here, was a long running joke, that intake is tuned to produce the most power at a specific rpm, the cam was probably made to match the intake also.

As far as I know the intake looks like that because of regulations on intake opening size. As you can see it's tiny as he'll. That's no where near optimum flow.

exactly it has a restrictor, but they try to tune every horsepower out of it that they can

the block still has the stock engine mount points, its just a modified OEM honda block

Of course, but I'm sure it would be fully streetable with just swapping out the cams if they are too lumpy, and putting a normal intake on it. Would still have the dry sump and whatever else has been modified on it (head and pistons?). And the most important thing, it says mugen on it ;)

id make the engine sit high so that manifold could stick out thu the hood now that would be bad ass :D

ummmmm looks t me as its made to be rwd with the way the headers come out unless it was ran as open headers and came right out at the front of the wheel

it were mounted on F3 series race cars. much like F1 but 2L restriction and 24mm intake plate to limit the power.

That, or get them modified or use B18 aftermarket cams. Same as with any B20A.

it was probably installed in something like this, also Honda powered, they have an intake just like the mugen with the restrictor http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/moultriemanicmechanic/auburn%20race%20team/IMG_11851.jpg?t=1245039548

The internals would work in our car but that's about it.

This one also has the later type valve cover.

Someone selling MF204 parts, if he still got the pistons, maybe someone would want to pick them up?

Yea you're right, a lot more bolts on that thing than ours. So this is based on the newer B-series?

Have spoken to hem, he only have Flywheel, starter, ECU, and Airbox. already asked hen about the block and pistons. Anyways, those engines had 12.5:1CR, you can have same CR with B16 pistons as well.

They are based on a Prelude B20A (88-91). The internals were the same as an Accord B20A anyway.

sorry to disappoint you guys he sold it

I have sold my other stuff related to the F.3 engine.
I have left the engine cover.
Let me know if You are still interested to me and make me a good offer.
In positive case, if You have an Ups/Dhl parcel number, I am able to send it easily.
