wow i guess i am lucky that the tail light was the only thing i love the car but for someone with as little income as me to do all that i probably would've sold it and gotten something else

lol i tried once to put one in reverse and stalled the motor

if you ever try again do this
put it in gear....first or reverse... put the clutch down dont even worry about the gas yet...slowly ease the clutch up....SLOWLY and when the clutch gets close to where it releases you will notice the car will slowly propel itself then give it a little gas and release the clutch if is still in any .. and your off and with practice youll get the hang of it

i really want to learn and then do a five speed swap to my car. my buddy and i go out all the time and he drives the car through the gears and tells me that second has no pick up and that if it were a five speed it would fix that and well i just wanna learn so i know and i think it would be fun to have a five speed
russ_512
06-16-2009, 06:48 PM
my first lxi was a five speed this one i got now is an automatic. before i get rid of the first lxi im gonna take all the stuff out to do the swap so i can do it down the road
