Anyone know what would cause a vibration when car warms up.when it's on fast idle it's fine, but when it idles down to 750 it vibrates.what would cause this .

Well when i get the motor and trans out of black car gonna take the mounts and fill them with urethane, that should help.

I read somewhere on the net that 91 (4g) have the rear engine mount actuated by the ECU; it shifts the mount from "soft" to "hard".... Other people complained about idle vibration in 4g accords and were told to look at the rear engine mount (that is ecu-controlled)...

As for 3g, mine (86 LXI auto) has the same problem. Fast idle is OK, but vibrates at idle especially when transmission is in gear (D,2 or R) or A/C is on. when both are together (gear + AC) it is a low-frequency rumble that invades the whole car.
I replaced motor mounts (one was destroyed -timing belt side; front and rear were OK) I also replaced bushings at the torque arm or whatever its name (engine top)... vibration is still there.

mine is auto too.

I read the service manual and said check idle speed, check motor mounts, check transmission for debris in pump filter, replace torque converter. Someone suggested me that a partially stuck lock converter valve would cause this by partially engaging the lock in the torque converter. But since checking for stuck valves involves disassembling the transmission... I think I'll learn to love the vibration

EGR problems can mess with your idle too.

would it cause idle to drop to about 500 then back up to 700? mine does that

Don't know. I think the gasket is a couple bucks so just pull it off and see if it's dirty.
