So I talked to the guy who is gonna tune my car, he suggested i get a bigger turbo(hehe) and a BTM or something of the sort. I know MSD has a BTM for like 250 new, but i was wondering if any other company made something like a BTM? or like a 6AL with the same features.

p.s. would u guys trust a ebay brand 16g... :ninja:

I dont know man that would be 250 bucks in the wrong direction. I say save your money till you have a little more and either find a tuner that can chip n tune an ecu for you or go with ectune, crome, etc. if you have a little more money than a hondata.

Get yourself the adapter plate thing and bolt up a obd1 distributor add a couple of wires and your set.

Unless your feeling extra lazy right now dont go the BTM route if your funds will allow or you can deal with the wait. :)

Ebay is 50/50. I think I would rather buy a used name brand turbo and run the risk of having to pay to rebuild than going with the cheap ebay turbos.

^^ yea the plan is later go obd1(prob end of this year if funds allow) but i want the car to still be reliable enough that i can DD it with out worrying about it randomly blowing up while going to work or something stupid.
but at the moment, i dont think ill even get the bigger turbo till after Import Alliance. So i might just get a Mallory 6Al and be done with it for a while.

obd1 is the best way to go by far, the safc and btm will work but its sketchy, i dont reccomend it for over 10-12psi boost max.

lol stfu....

thats for a while not for a long time. silly.

My real plan is to boost it, get a big 16g, and get it tuned by a pro(like 300 bucks) then ride it out till i save up for obd1(after school starts and all that stuff) then yea... hopefully ill have a built motor and some cool things to go on there too.

you need to shop tuners. if i supply the ecu, my tunner will sell me the neptune rtp and dyno tune it for $450.
