is possible ? & whats needed. Was thinking if I could find a 85 ES3 head & complete intake, then just swap the parts, but I'm not sure is the ES2/3 blocks are the same.

thanks

If you've got an 84, and you want the easiest conversion, you're best off going with an A20. Yes, you can swap the ES3 head on the ES2, but getting all the parts to run that EFI system won't be terribly easy. If you go with the A20, you can find parts a plenty at the wrecking yard, or pick up a wrecked donor LX-i to swap all the parts out of. MustardCat did an A20 swap in his 84 Accord, and was super pleased with the results. You'll net 20-25 more horsepower than with the ES3 motor.

The A20 will bolt right into your car, and bolt right up to your transmission. You just need to use the ES clutch and flywheel on the A20 block, and probably your ES crank pulley and accessories.
