I picked up this 84 it hadn't been run in a long time the carb is varnished and full of crap so got that cleaned up and found a jet sitting in the bottom of the front bowl pics attached and I don't know where it's supposed to go hopefully u guys can tell me so I can get this puppy back together! TIA

That is pretty nasty looking... Not sure where that goes myself, but there's no obvious holes in the top had or anything like that? Seems like there would be a hole for that to fit in that's about the same size...

i'm going to look it over again tonight but it looked like everything was where it was supposed to be on the top. I wish I could find a teardown guide for these carbs my after market manual is junk when it comes to the carb.

Check out eBay, the Factory Service Manual is usually around $20 on there. Well worth it and will have all your carb teardown and service procedures! :)
