I have an A150L compressor on mine and the one I've found are either the 10P15E or the SD508. Does anyone know if this is a direct interchange or are their other parts to change to make this fit and work properly?

I will be replacing the dryer and expansion valve when I replace this. I am going to go R134 as well.

I'm not familiar with those numbers. Typically, you're going to have either a Keihin or Nippondenso compressor. If you have the Keihin, you should take it out very carefully and throw it away. Then replace it with the Nippondenso. If you don't have the bracket for the Nippon, you can get it easily from the junkyard. Conversion should be easy. Just read the directions. I assume you own or have access to a vacuum pump to pump it down and check for leaks before refilling. Refill with two cans of 134 and no more. The best way to get the freon into the system is by dipping the can into a bowl of hot water. Watch your gauges to be sure that you don't cause a big pressure spike doing it that way though. I try to keep them steady and under 50 psi or so on the low side.

Good luck and enjoy the cool.

A150L=Keihin
10P15E=Denso
Brackets and hoses are different between the two.
I believe the SD508 is the Sanden which i think requires a different bracket and lines as well...

Thanks guys, that is what I thought. I have an extra bracket, just not sure which compressor it's for:) but I'll figure it out.

Installed the Denso compressor, changed the lines, dryer, expansion valve. Evac the system, and charged with R134 and the AC blows nice and cold!
