heres a link to the vid of my 87 lxi when i put the intake on it

my question is... how come my 89 lxi with the dual stage intake DOESNT sound like this?? its like it has no sound at all... and would putting the 87's intake on my 89 affect the power at all? i know ill loose some power but how much?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you want to sound like a "tuner" cut the muffler off.

i dont wanna sound like anything.. just have a nice intake note.. and idk why my new setup doesnt make any sound when i punch it

or just the exhaust...

the only time it sounds pretty good is when the secondaries open up.. its funny cuz when i pull on someone they ask me if its vtec lol but like i asked in my first post... would putting the 86-87 intake manifold on my 89 affect the power at all? how about a B16 manifold? are those good?

It's probably because the primary runners on the later engine are smaller than the runners on the earlier engine.

is it direct fit? i want something i can put directly... what manifolds are compatible with the a20?

wow never thought i could put another mani on it.. how about the fast idle valve and the vac hookups? they on it?
