Very nice. I did that to my mounts, and it's definitely a better feel. I like not having the motor move at all when I gun it.

There isn't really a write up. Just grab a tube of 3m window weld, and a caulking gun. Then fill all the mounts with it. I did all of mine, and it definitely makes a difference. Doesn't look the prettiest though.

people take pics BEFORE posting a thread, then we don't have to be left in suspense waiting for them :)

It's the same as putting poly inserts into the mounts, just the ghetto way to do it.

I have an 88' Carb'd a20, all I need to do is jack up under the transmission like an inch or so (with a piece of wood ya) and I can remove the mounts correct?

Then just use the window weld and knock myself out.

if you still have stock mounts chances are that they are broken....2 of out my 3 mounts were busted this is with 170k

Does this mean full replacement?

I've had to raise my idle to like 1000 IN D, and it goes up to 1500 in N cause it shakes so bad any lower.

(I'd like to get that fixed)

^^ I read somewhere that you can tape up one side of the mount, and fill it up and just leave it to dry, then remove the tape once it's dry.

cool mounts. now hurry up with teh b20 install :D

you found the right stuff. Just wait a bit longer. Mine took more than 24 hours to set properly. They were still a little soft after 24, but after 48 they were hard as a rock.

so if you have the issue of the front mount tearing in half, how do you fix that? Id like to find a way to weld a bracket together and have this stuff as a buffer in the middle to work agaianst each part but its hard to explain. any thoughts
