Figured I'd post my car since I really never have..

Keep in my it looked better before my idiot friend wrecked the front end..

Anyway here she is--

I took off the fender and beat it to make it look like that (it looked so bad before I did..)

And I painted over it and the bumper to remove the black and what not (I think seattle silver matched the best)

Ya because since I have so much damage in the front (and parts down here are hard to come by for some reason in a JY), I haven't even bothered to get the paint redone or anything (it has scratches out the ass on the hood/roof, and trunk lids..) Even a 300$ paint job would be worth it (assuming the body looked like it used to <.<)

Mine is YR94M, Seattle Silver. I swear, they're the same color, just a different name because Misty Beige was only available from '86-'88 and Seattle Silver was only available in '89, and they look identical.

Post Accident body (It's been over a year)-

-New Autopal housings w/ Luminics Ultra White Krypton bulbs
-New side markers (Perfect condition from the JY)
-ALL black trim = repainted/clearcoated

Coming soon -

-15% tint (should of been done already but weather sucks)
-Full clearcoat cutting/buffering (Hopefully, car looks like poo)


In other news also, apparantly my A/C was converted to R-134 back in the day, so I recharged it and voila, my A/C works!

And, apparantly the wire going to the left horn, also controls the cruise control.. (Wire was unplugged so neither the horn or Cruise worked till I noticed it taking the bumper off, then I plugged it in and both work lol.)

So voila, I have either color, but they only sell seattle silver so I chose that.

Ya I'm going to start working on the paint and stuff on the exterior next, then work on the suspension, then maybe try for some performance. Maybe a 5 speed swap and some engine bay overhaul and cleaning. Dunno tho, car is almost to 250,000 miles and hopefully it'll last

Ya the tint is for my son, florida sun in summer, no tint, and a not so new A/C isn't to fun for him I'm sure.. and 15% will make me uber cool (literally).

Car looks way better at night anyway, but this way my lights can be seen and I can get some clean shots without sun glare and what not.



Anyway another update would be my vac removal and mechanical secondary, along with removing CC, and cleaning up the engine bay some.



Got the car to 0-60 in exactly 10 seconds, which I think is amazing for an automatic with no mods, I'll have to figure out how to post video but it was on my phone so it won't be HD quality.

Haven't posted any updates in a while but I finally got something wonderful, and cheap!


OEM spoiler from an 89 LXi coupe, 30$!


It's white, and the LED bar is almost completely dead, but the spoiler itself is in amazing condition. Some guy was selling the car for 200$ w/ a blown headgasket but I'm poor, so I managed to get the spoiler lol.


Going to be painting it and mounting it within the next 2 weeks.

Also, got a civic airbox from EricW, it works great and the new shortram I put on actually made a noticeable difference in throttle response and seems a bit peppier.



Also, anyone know how to get into the light bar and fix the leds..?

Nighttime mode go. FYI those are my spare bulbs since mine burned out a week ago. A bit blue for my liking but they light the road better than most cars unless its a Lexus or Bummer, etc..
