so Adam was "pressured" to take off and I was left all alone. :( I had to wait for my wife cause she couldnt find the local mall. It took her a while to get back to the hotel so Steve and his girlfriend ( great girl by the way) She was the only one that enjoyed herself I think. Well they decided to hang out with me and my fam, and go to the local mall. While we were waiting Steves better half told hi to park his car for a better photo opp and we took pretty many. I think one of these might be calender aterial. (to bad the old p&s saves in .jpg :()

Dennis, your car is almost too clean. In every pic of your car you can see the reflection of whatever there is around you, and it's almost more clear than what it's actually reflecting. I don't get it. Beautiful car my friend.

Steve, as always, that damn thing just pisses me off to see so clean like that. Those moldings look to have come out pretty damn good for a quick shoot. Definitely a fan of those. ...oh and that black interior too. ...but that's old news. So now that you're back home, hop your ass in that car and head back to my house. Actually, they had a great time. Amy's got a very tempermental stomach and it requires food, which is why we left so early on saturday. That plus the temperature = disaster as far as her tummy goes. Sunday we just didnt want to be home very late and Matt's bday was today (Monday), and he wanted to be home to get some rest.


We ALL had a great time though! I'm with steve, i think its awesome not really knowing people, but being able to "know" them enough to make friends! Oh and Steve, tell Crystal i'm sorry for calling her a bitch when we were playing fuck the dealer :kekeke:

so all day we saw cars going around the track taking part in the redline time attack. well at 4pm we noticed that cars out there were different and the drivers were not wearing helmets. turns out they were taking groups of about 10 out on the track to take some paced hot laps. VERY FUN!!!

saturday night fun...

Played some drinking games with Adam and his gf, tim and jim. Things got pretty funny when we played Kings or as some call it "circle of death"

the way we play is that when you get a queen that person makes a rule. well the rule that was made was that if you swear you must put your knee to your forhead until someone else swears. long story short...tim and jim (luke's (mushroom) friend) had a fair bit of alcohol...especially Jimbo. good times had by all.

lastly a vid of my first lap on the track. my gf took it with 1 hand on the camera and her other arm on the cooler sliding around in the back seat. I really didn't push the car hard as I had that cooler and a suspect axle. my 2nd lap was definitely faster and more aggressive but unfortunately no vid.

That video brought a big smile to my face. I wish my father in law could have taken some videos but he was holding on for dear life. I was really pusing it in the turns. I was nipping the red/white bumps on the turns how tight I was taking them. Unfortunately by the time I was done pushing it through the turns I had caught up and had to slow down on the straights the let the others pull away some so i could have another go at it. :D

I made it home about 830 Tuesday night then headed straight in to work at 1030 (stupid helicopters). We stayed another 2 nights in Memphis and stayed at the Skirvin in OKC Mondat night. Between me and my "date" we have a lot of pics to sort through and upload. I've also got a full semester of homework I need to get to...........sometime> Theres pics of Dennis and Steve's cars at the hotel and a few at the show as well as the rest.

Dennis, I am disappointed i didn't get to see your car in action or go for a ride perhaps i will have to take a trip to florida. Your car is amazing and i am very inspired by your car. I have been toying with the idea of selling my Subaru but im a little over 2 years until its paid in full and it would be hard to break even. And that woman hit my car on the way home better pay for my rear bumper to get fixed. I hope to get the B20A to the machine shop i just need the pistons which i am working on. Someone backed into my car when i stayed over in Virginia i came out to a nice 8-10 inch black streak on my passenger rear bumper. Me being stupid freaked out and took a cloth and wiped off the mark and it looked fine. But there is a crease or line about 5 inches long in the plastic which is not that bad but will bother me. She did leave her name and number so i will have to see what comes of it. But i already stalked her and she gave me a residential phone number that comes up in Jacksonville Florida and i have her address. So i am confident that i can get this taken care of and she did leave her information.

Thats what i get for parking away from everyone else i guess but i was in a normal spot and is totally her fault.

But i am eager to get my accord under way again and use up the stock pile of parts in my basement, attic, and bedroom.
